A cake which was inspired by some beautiful moroccan lamps I had recently seen.

The deep red colour was applied to the cake with petal dust and rejuvenator liquid.

The ‘cage’ was made using 1cm strips of wafer paper.

The top decorations were made from fondant and then painted gold
