This is a fully vegan cake for a friend’s little boy. It has 4 pastel-colored layers of vanilla sponge (pink, yellow, green, blue) and all elements are edible with no structural components. The butterflies are made with my own vegan mix of cake lace and all details are hand made. Impression moulds were used to texture the leaves and small flowers, the peony was textured with a variety of ball tools.
