After pondering for about a week, I came up with this simple design for a baby shower cake. This cake, with all it’s flaws, will remain dear to me, not because it’s my first cake with figurines, not because it’s my second attempt at fondant cakes, but for the person for whom it was designed. Yes, it’s for my dearest friend who stands by me through thick and thin.
The plan was to have a topper that would reflect the love, excitement and anticipation, associated with welcoming a new member. I failed there, terribly but kind of happy that it turned out OK.
