I don’t normally make wedding cakes, but I was asked by a very good friend to make a plain 2 tier cake, with red & white gingham ribbon, bunting & strawberries to go with their strawberry cream tea reception.
I did struggle with this cake working in my 30+ degree kitchen during a heatwave with no air con. Thankfully the customer loved it :))
