This cake was a grooms cake for a young man whose family bred Arabian stallions. He had his favorite as a kid, of course, and asked me to make it into cake. It loved the challenge, though having to have it in two pieces for refrigeration purposes was perhaps more of a headache than I anticipated.

Thanks! But ironically, the bride and groom couldn’t bring themselves to cut it! They had to send it to the kitchen for the caterer to do the deed, and present the slices as a “fait-accomplit” (sp?).
