This cake was created for a October wedding last year.
The couple wanted something that included fern, pine cones and autumn leaves.

They also asked if I could recreate this egg shaped bird topper that they had seen, so here is the finished result.

One of my favorites still. Give me a birch tree cake any day! ( no need to worry about smooth fondant here) I love a cake that breaks all the rules
