Having had the honour to participate in the PDCA Collaboration for the theme Indian Cuisines ,here is my design showing the traditional drink of Goa called fenni.
Goa – a land of beaches , churches, Indian and Portuguese traditions is one of the best getaways of India. Fenni is a drink made from cashews which is so very true to Goa.
My cake shows a bottle of fenni which is carved and is symbolic of the ocean and Goan culture. The glass is made from isomalt with fenni made of jelly.Sugarpaste flowers like the ranunculus,hibiscus and frangipani bring out the essence of Goa. Palm leaf,cashew apple and the coconut are the add on elements.
