My stepson’s 25th Birthday cake. It would be fair to say that Joe has a thing about torches… yep, we don’t really get it either… so I came up with a quick design that reflected this.

I decided not to make an actual torch out of sculpted cake. I think they have a nasty habit of looking like something else that you wouldn’t want to eat from a distance (eugh!).

I chose to make the design hint toward a comic book style instead.

Joe was very pleased with his cake, as were his brothers when they found it was chocolate fudge!
