I made this 1st birthday cake for my nephew who was born prematurely weighing 2lbs. It was a very scary time for everyone when he was first born so get to make his first birthday cake was fantastic!

A very early cake of mine so I pick holes in it now (like the plane), but I do that with all of my cakes anyway!

His dad had wanted a West Ham cake for him, which I really didn’t want to make for a 1 year old, so I compromised with the colours.
