Did this cake for my husband’s birthday who loves the beach. The cake is two 9″ × 6″ stacked light fruit cake with vanilla buttercream filling. The cake was crumb coated and covered in light blue fondant to depict water. For rest of the decorations I used, royal icing for the for the borders (waves and grass) Gumpaste was used for the coconut tree, beach towel, flip flop, beach umbrella, bucket, log, water bubbles, anemones and sea plants. To depict the sand I used brown sugar.

Hope you guys enjoy this as much as I had fun doing this cake and my husband who was just thrilled to get this.
