This cake was made for my hubby’s co-worker’s going away party. I wanted the design to be symbolic of Japan so I went with the silhouette of the Tokyo skyline on the bottom tier, Mt. Fuji and the Rising Sun on the top tier, and top it with a Torii gate. I then added the Hiragana writing (hand-cut) of "Sayonara) which translates “Good Bye”.
