The Rock Jock

This was the second birthday cake we were doing for Vivaan , and this time the theme was rock climbing. My client wanted very less fondant, so we went for a 10" tall double barrel chocolate ganache cake with few fondant accents , & loved the end result.
Bake make: three layers of our super moist dark chocolate cake with alternate silky caramel swiss meringue buttercream & vanilla swiss meringue buttercream, and crunchy chooclate filling.The 2 tiers of the cake was stacked on top of each other and frosted with valrhona dark chocolate ganache to give a tall tall cake. Fondant accents of rocks, grips, rope , number 8 topper and a little Vivaan climbing up & rising to his 8 completed the cake.
