This was my first attempt on a 2- sided themed cake. How many of you remember playing with your Lego set when you were little? The hours we would spend building those amazing structures.
Creating this cake brought back so many fun memories. I used a 50/50 blend of homemade fondant & tylsoe to create the multicolored blocked and Lego soldiers. The Lego sign is made with a frosting sheet.
The other side is based on the Disney series, Sheriff Callie. What a perfect way to share 2 birthdays at one time. The hardest part for me was to make sure everything lined up perfectly so that you could not see the other side until you turned it around.
