Sharing here my contribution to the awesome collaboration, " A Sugar Artists’ Tea Party"
Edible teacups, saucer and nest. Added the little birdie nest for the required Easter twist to the piece. Had fun creating this cake. Thanks to the amazing hosts Jean Schapowel and Anna Garcia for organizing this beautiful collaboration. Its an honor to be a part of it with all the awesome International Artists.
I have tried two new techniques for the first time here… 1) First attempt at edible lace, 2) wood grain texture on fondant to cover the cake board. Also first ever sugar teacups. :)

For you first attempt at teacups, wood grain and edible lace, I would say you did fabulous. Love that little nest too!
