This tall four tier wedding cake was designed and made in pastel colors. I drew inspiration for this cake from the brides dress and the flower arrangement at the reception. Various techniques were used to complete this 4 tier cake. Bottom tier was hand painted and wax paper transfer technique was used, on the 2rd tier I used the bas relief technique and air brushed it with pearl sheen and on the top tier the ruched fabric effect with gum paste roses was done. To tie the whole cake theme together I used a sphere cake covered with wafer paper flowers to add an element of wow factor to the entire cake.
