Just made my first 3 tier birthday cake for my Grandson. And although dreading getting it to the venue an hour and a half away, I am pleased to say that it survived the journey intact(ish). Put tiers together at the venue so could not control the picture background :( What sizes do people usually make the tiers, I did 6,8,10" but found did not have much room to place all the extras so moved tiers back. Is this usual???
