Last weekend I made this beast of a cake for a 18th birthday bash. Shamefully I have to admit, I don’t know an awful lot about Harry Potter (must be the only person on this planet) but thankfully id a Harry Potter addict at home to keep me on the straight and narrow.

The drum was an attempt of the marauders map, and the books where lemon and vanilla cakes. The sorting hat was a whole lot of chocolate cake carved into shape and covered in fondant and then dusted with petal dusts. The whole cake weighted a tonnnn but thankfully went down a treat with the birthday girl.
