For the New Year eve, I made my firt naked cake. For this occasion, I selected a cake of fruit and nuts, very typical in my country (Venezuela) in Christmas and new year season. Decorated with hand-made Ponsettias that are the Christmas flowers.
i chose a naked cake, because I wanted to express the way in that every one of us, should start a 2016, naked or free of fears and resentments, rages, bad memories, sadness… Where strawberries, walnuts, almonds, and raisins, are the surprises, moments, learnings, that each day will be presented, some like us more, and other not so much… Where the ponsettias or Christmas flowers, mean the passion with which I desire to put each person, in each of the 365 opportunities that it brings us the new year…. and where every yellow Cyanthium (flower Center) reflects the light that I have asked God to enlighten each of our daily decisions, to make us : better people, better families, better countries and of course a better world!
