I’m a bit late in getting these posted but Christmas was a tad hectic for me as I’m sure it was for a lot of you.

Dating back to my university days I have made gift baskets of baked goods as Christmas gifts. This year I made 300+ cookies (5 different kinds), 3 kinds of sweet breads, cheesecakes and cherry balls.

These are the gingerbread cookie designs I did this year. Not as crazy detailed as the other gorgeous gingerbread cookies posted by others and not my own designs (all the ideas I found online) but I had to keep them relatively simple due to the volume I was making. I use Martha Stewart’s gingerbread recipe. It has freshly ground black pepper in it which I find gives it that little extra kick.
