A simple buttercream finished cake decorated with various cut and press flowers.

I wanted the cake to have an impact, but be affordable for the client. I can churn out these flowers so quickly, and they are effective. I like the randomness of collecting them together like this, and it reminds me of posies.

The cake was a 90th birthday cake for a lady who loves Jack Russells, so I made some simple toppers.
