This Boot Scootin Boogie baby shower cake was a great hit. The 2 tier cake is covered in homemade fondant. on the top tier, I used a sponge paint method using a combination of airbrush and food color. The boots are made from a 50/50 blend of gum paste & fondant. I made these several days in advance so that they would have time to dry. The belt, belt buckle, rope and pacifier were made of fondant. The only thing not edible was the bandanna.
