This cake was for a very funny occasion last year. My brother makes every year a Winterparty… that means that you have to stay at least 2 hours outside before you are allowed to enter in the house ;) of course he offers the traditional “Feuerzangenbowle” witch is hot red wine spiced with cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise and orange peel and sugar soaked with rum and set alight…
He started with this party now 10 Years ago, and he wanted to stop!!… but all the guests didn’t agree!! the Winterparty allready turned to be a " Jour fix" so everybody tried to do something very special on this 10th Winterparty to convince my brother to keep on with the tradition. – I made this cake :)
Well the party goes on!!! We made it!!! This year it won’t be the 11th winterparty but the 10th+1 Winterparty ;)
