This cake is an effortless take on the one phrase we are always taught, “The Circle Of Life.” It is the sight of the shades brought by the moon to the dark my that primarily inspired the theme of the cake. It is the gradual appearance of the overall, that conveys the most truthful saying, “Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining.”
The first layer of the cake represents dawn, the start of a new beginning. This is depicted by the ombre shaded warm colours of the sun. It portrays that the very existence of dawn can motivate us. It also leisurely moves into the ‘noon’ phase.
The cool orange that beings to fade into the indigo shade exhibits the sun setting itself into the darker night, covered with stars and radiant moonlight.
On a personal note, I would like to think of the darker sky as a phase of life which yet again, can be overcome due to the pleasant glow of moonlight.
This sphere, being the centre of attraction, displays the comforting moonshine on all of the night sky. The love being spread due to the illumination of the moonbeam and its surrounding sky full of stars is what can truly inspire one and all.
