This was my final cake for my ABC Level 3 cake decorating at college. I wanted a winter wedding theme, based a little on the Disney’s “Frozen” idea. The cake is airbrushed with Dinky Doodle Pearl Sky Blue. The animals are modelling paste, airbrushed with pearlescent white and then detailed with dust colours. The bulk of snow flurry are individual cut outs from modelling paste, attached with Royal Icing before hand painting with pearl. white. The remainder is piped Royal icing. The rock and tree scenes are hand painted with dust colours before detailing with Royal Icing. The Bride and Groom are half Pastillage , half modelling paste and painted with dust colours.
