Well this was a not-so-surpirise-surprise cake for hubby dearest.:-) And since he doubles up as our official photographer , when-in-town ofcourse, it had to be our yummiest best. And indeed it was, we all were literally digging into with our fingers- who?what? spoons? forks?
Cake bake: Cream cheese filling sandwiched between layers of butterscotch pecan cake . Frosted with butterscotch cream and a generous pour of rum infused dark chocolate ganache. Topped with gold dusted maltesers, pecan nuts, a brush of cream, tiny sugar pearls , chopped nuts along the sides at the bottom and a drizzle of homemade salted caramel sauce.
