I made this Jurassic World themed cake with Blue the Velociraptor topper for my son’s 6th birthday, who is a dino freak!
This cake was both stressful and fun to make. I had wanted to make the head out of rice krispies treat (I have never done before) but it failed miserably, so I ended up using and carving the head out of styro. The cumbersome part was having to roll tiny bits of fondant for the teeth and sticking in the narrow jaw.

I was pretty chuffed with myself that Blue turned out pretty realistic…Of course, Tristan was smiling from ear to ear like the raptor…
