This is my entry for Cake international 2015  in Birmingham . I’m so happy that it was awarded with a Silver medal!!

With what’s happening in our dear Salento (Puglia), about the #xylella issue, I could do nothing but  support a similar case in defense of our “roots”. Every Italian  should refuse the abomination of cultural eradication of olive trees here in Puglia … and everyone should shout their dissent as hard as possible!
The work is titled “XYLITALY” : Italy is on her  knees and has the chance to hear the scream of olives or not. The double side of creation explains the consequences of either choice!!! The Oil oozed from the breast of the “healthy” one drops as nectar into the mouth of the new generations….. On her stomach the red X , the same that you put on the trees wich are going to be killed.
