For this cake, I wanted to replicate the beauty and texture of letterpress printing.

The tiers were crimped all around in a pattern, some teal paint was added for depth of color and then the cake was hand-painted in reds and pinks. Sugar roses and peonies top it off with teal satin ribbon.
