This was my dream cake idea for my 18th birthday and I was able to realize it when my daughter turned 18. Yes, I put this cake together by myself. I wanted it simple but elegant and very cost-effective. I put pink ribbons and monograms that matched her gowns. I put a tall vase with flowers on the high pillared stand. I used Royal Albert Old Country Roses figurine for the topper, and put a waist ribbon to match the ribbons on the cake. I also put a singing and rotating candle with fireworks. It was a success and big hit! Everybody wanted a picture with the cake.
