I made this cake for my friend’s son’s first birthday as a surprise gift.
She said he likes in the night garden and I didn’t want to buy a gift that he might already have so I made him a cake.
This was made with chocolate sponge, buttercream. Fondant to cover and decorations. I use plastic sticks to hold up the carousel which I handcrafted with fondant. And finished it off with a balloon light on the top
