This is my contribution to the wonderful Happy Birthday Stephen King Collab revealed just yesterday. Mine is a draw from the book MISERY in which a crazy fan “helps” the author of a book series recuperate from a car crash. She doesn’t like how the character MISERY is being written off so she persuades the author with her hatchet to bring back MISERY. The typewriter is a mere 2.5 inches and the hatchet is 2 inches long. The message is written on wafer paper with edible inks and the blood is corn syrup and gel paste. It was an honor to work with so many talented artists!
