My sweet boy asked me to make him a football themed cake for his birthday.
I naively thought:<<this is going to be easy…a square cake maybe,with few football figurines>>

Oh No Mum – he says – I would like a football shaped cake with the Fc Barcelona colors !

How could I say no?!

I had no cutters so I hand cut every pentagon and hexagon on this cake, and patiently matched them. Hours of fun!!
I think the result is pretty good and Matt loved it:o)

The cake is composed of chocolate sponge, chocolate Italian style filling and orange choc ganache.
