This was the sugar shoe I made for the amazing A Walk on the Wild Side Collaboration – 36 unique and creative shoes (https://www.facebook.com/pages/A-Walk-On-The-Wild-Side/1053522114677781?ref=bookmarks) Mine was based on various African bead art pieces I had seen. I cut the circles out using and icing nozzle (all 2280 of them – sad I know but I counted) and then stuck them onto the shoe. I made up the pattern as I went along but wanted it have an Aztec kind of feel to it. This was my first sugar shoe and I had such fun making it and being part of a wonderful group of cake artists.
