This is my latest wedding cake.
It’s with sugar Alstromeria, Carnations, little Moth Orchids and Cosmos.
The 3 tier cake is vanilla sponge filled with orange and Licor 43 cream.
The making of these sugar flowers was a significant stress factor (and that’s an understatement)..
Normally I use my homemade recipe but this time I used a purchased one, the humidity almost killed my sugar flowers. With the help of the Sugar Flower Rescue Team (Riany Clement, Anita Meppelink, Arina van Driel, Susan Kruithof- You and Tenna Skibstrup) I saved them but please don"t zoom in on the pictures…hahaha.
