This is my first naked wedding cake. For some reason I’d been avoiding them for ages, afraid it would be tricky to make them look appealing, but now I’m hooked! It’s a classic vanilla sponge with strawberry jam and vanilla Italian meringue buttercream, topped with two tiers of lemon drizzle cake with homemade lemon curd and lemon buttercream. My mouth waters just looking at it!
