Oh wow. I went from only making 3 or so cakes total (only one at a time) to making 3 for one night. It was a massive effort and I was very excited about the result.

Celebrity Cake with hand made Michael Jackson and Madonna was Coconut and lemoncello. Disco cake – Orange yogurt cake. Both with white chocolate ganache. Record cake was dairy free + gluten free chocolate cake with dairy free chocolate ganache.

I was happy with my figures and to make the record labels with edible paper and pens. I used my new Cake Frame and put lights through it and under the fondant on the base…so fitting for the 80’s.

Although this was a donation to Montessori Farmhouse North Balgowlah Sydney I’m considering it my first commercial cake catering for over 80 people. It was quite an achievement for me…I hope you like it.
