Thiss was a very special order for a very good friend who will have her baby girl soon. She loves reading and hate pink and all that “cute baby stuff” so we wanted to put a bit of her personality on her baby shower. This were the results. Bottom layer is dummy the next two were vanilla cake shaped with fondant to mimic antique books. The finishing was done with luster dust and lemon extract with a soft brush ( I should have used a porous sponge to get better results). All the details were done with silicon molds and hand painted.
