Such a massive challenge for me. I was given the opportunity to make a dream catch cake for a birthday. My dream was to make it into a hanging dream catcher.

I put my Meganlicious thinking cap on and came up with the structure for the dream catcher so that it would hang and the internal structure of the cake board.

With the amazing help from my amazing sidekick and partner in crime (The Hubby), I set to putting this creation together. It’s quite funny the many discussions we had about this cake, some fun and some a bit not so fun! ha ha. Ah marriage!

I made a red velvet cake with salted caramel buttercream and white chocolate ganache.

I am so happy with myself and cannot believe that I have achieved such an amazing challenge. Cake really has no boundaries! It’s art with the added bonus of being able to eat it!
