Phew! Crazy weekend it was! Someone close in the family gets engaged, you want to make sure you do something special for them. Picture this…. Three adults and two kids traveling with 8 travel bags. The biggest one has my cake tools, and the smallest one has my clothes LOL!!

The baked cakes and the flowers traveled with me to Nagpur (800 kms away in pouring rain) , don’t ask me how. Thanks to Yashraj Vaishnav whose bachelor pad I used (and abused LOL!) to make this cake. I hope I cleaned it up better than before after my cake was made. A strange city, a different weather, different working conditions than I am used to, making this chocolate cake with chocolate whipped cream filling, and then getting ready in a saree to go to the actual event! Sometimes I like to do crazy!

One of the biggest help came to me from Ms. Shaira Mehdi, a home baker from Nagpur who gave me help regarding not just the weather, but also where I can find my resources in a strange city. A Big Big Thanks to Shaira, and may God give you loads of success!
