This cake is very special to me as I made it for my own wedding; along with most of the decorations (I feel I may have control freak tendencies!)
Anyway, I wanted something simple and understated so decided to use the cornelli lace piping effect over the whole cake. Yes, my hand was killing me afterwards!
I’d always wanted to make a flower ball to go on the top of a cake and decided to use simple hydrangea for mine.
The only part my husband had a say in was the bride and groom figures at the bottom 😁
