I made this cake for my sisters birthday, she is very girly and loves pink so I decided on this design for her. Top tier is chocolate, middle tier is lime and coconut and the bottom tier is cherry bakewell. My sister also loves marzipan so every tier had a layer of ganache, followed by a layer of marzipan then fondant. I wouldn’t normally put marzipan on sponge cakes but she thought it was amazing! All the ribbon roses are handmade and this was my first cake with super sharp edges.
