This is a 3 tiered tropical Hawaiian Luau inspired cake. Palm trees are a combination of gumpaste and modeling chocolate. All stencils were custom made and cut out by hand. Cake tiers are air brushed for a ombre like appearance. Sand is made from a graham cracker/brown sugar mix, seashells are gumpaste made from molds. Surf board is gumpaste with a wafer paper image attached to it.
