A true representation of colours and beauty of INDIA. I spent many days looking for themes, which would be different and unique and enable the best use of candy and colours. What finally caught my imagination were the beautiful colours and vibrancy of our country , especially India’s artisans. Thus crystallised the idea of a Gujarati Kutch-work theme, and the cake started taking shape in my mind. Each artisan spends months to handcraft a single treasure, and I realized this first hand when I spent 5 days of relentless and pain-staking effort to design my creation.
What you see below is a gorgeous, vibrant, Kutch-work bag, with each unique patch adorned with sugar candies, gems, tic-tacs, sugar sprinkles, sour strips and fondant in colours that truly represent our beautiful country and its handicrafts.
it really is awesome Meenakshi :)

Wow, this is amazing. You can see how much work you put in to planning before doing this. It looks so true to a Kutch-work bag…all that intricate beading and beautiful bright colours. This would be a cake I would not want to cut. Well done.
