My client is a kindergartner teacher and is expecting her first child. She loves the children’s books by “Mo Wiillems” What a better way than to celebrate her baby shower with her favorite children’s book. “Don’t let the Pigeon drive the Bus” I had so much fun creating this cake. This was the first time I tried to make a book cake and boy, I made a lot of mistakes. I used a frosting sheet to transfer the book image to the cake. I made the characters in the book come to life by having them bust through the top of the cake. Thank you Toni (White Crafty Cakes) for helping me with that technique.
