The mummy sent me a picture of her son’s dragon toy, requested to make a dragon fondant cake.
I remembered I was sleepless over 50 hours for this cake and I did it twice….

We were on the high while the mummy picked up the cake for celebration on following day. But 30 minutes later she called me weeping as the cake collapsed upon reaching home…
Comforting her, I requested the cake to be sent back. All the bakers will understand how I felt when I saw the state of my babe. I was then relieved as all the fondant figurines had survived (the impact?)
So I re-baked the cakes, as it was quite late (or early a.m.) while I realised that I do not have enough fondant for bottom tier, I iced the bottom tier with buttercream instead.

This is a 2 tiers cake with all the figurines made of fondant.
Leland’s dragon was holding a fondant number/ candle topper (which I love to make!)
ps: As I had no time to rest the top tier cake before applying ganache and fondant, air bubbles building up as expected.
I brushed the air bubbles with wet paint brush, and it kinda help smoothing the surface.
I Love my dragon. I hope you will love it too. ^^
