Occasionally, we get to do cakes for some high profile people and it is exciting to add those feathers to our caps. The camera cake we made was for John Hiller, a 5 Emmy and 1 Oscar winning cinematographer, who also worked for the Smithsonian, and who is the nicest and coolest guy. He was having a big party for lots of VIPs from L.A. and he wanted a cake that was a replica of the camera he used to shoot some of his best stuff. He also ordered a bunch of cool cupcakes. It was fun to see his face light up as he took in all the details and he was super happy to pose for a photo for us.
