This Harry Potter Cake is 100% edible. The rockface on the base and the upper level were made with Rice Krispie Treats. Water is piping gel. Rocks and Trees are made with modelling chocolate. Grass and moss is made with sugar cookies colored green..baked..and crushed. Even the poles for the flag and Quidditch field are made with spaghetti strands dyed (thanks Shawna McGreevy). Pillars are gumpaste..the cake is the castle and main field.

Overall I enjoyed making this cake and if I had more time would have worked more on the castle. I made this cake through Icing Smiles Canada for a wonderful boy celebrating his 8th birthday.
