Thank you spectrophotometer cake. I made this cake as a thank you for one of the teaching assistants for the chemistry teaching lab that I set up. This piece of equipment was used a lot & due to space limitations in the lab had to be stored elsewhere so he was the one to help me move them (20 or so) each time we needed them. The real thing is on the left for comparison. The cake was cream cheese pound cake with vanilla bean buttercream & fondant details. (April 2015)
