SpongeBob consisted of alternating layers of French Vanilla and Chocolate fudge cake. All of the characters, the sign, coral and “clouds” were done in gum paste. The jellyfish were motorized and spun slowly around the board.

Thanks again :) Maree, it took at least a solid week. The characters etc at the bottom were all hand modeled from gum paste, so those took quite a while to do. It was made for a good friend.
