This was made for one of my oldest friend’s little boy. She had a very difficult struggle to have a baby and a difficult pregnancy so I was thrilled when she asked me to make this cake. He is a huge fan of Raa Raa the Noisy Lion. He and his parents are very stylish so I wanted to make a cake that reflected that, not the usual sweet baby blue so often used.

This is my first cake with sharp edges… I’m pretty pleased with it!
